This fall Gather will be hosting its first Market in the Mountains at Moose Valley Ranch in beautiful Springdale, WA, sharing the peace and majesty of rural life with a side of live music, quality wares and food trucks.
This past spring I had the opportunity to be a part of an event put together to support rural women in business. The group is called Gather and was created by Jessica Garza and Alexandra Hoskins, who had the desire to create a community of women who ran small businesses that were rooted in agriculture or sold and developed western goods.
Those of us living rural understand how isolating this lifestyle can be, and when you start a business it’s even more so. They started this event to grow a community of supportive, engaging, invested women who want to see each other win!
This is for the women who have no chamber of commerce or working women events where they can wear their boots and be themselves. This is for the small town dreamers, the rural ranch wives, and the main street revivers.
Upon arriving at the event I found a whole team of women that I didn’t even know that I needed. And now we champion each other, gathering to celebrate each other's success and feel each other's losses.
For those of you that live in the city, you may think that this type of event holds little value for you. But I would argue that it should grab your attention. In the areas that surround your beloved city, there are farmers like me, growing beef and pork, poultry and lamb. They grow produce and work the land to benefit us all. Events like Gather provide you with connections that you would not otherwise have.
This fall Gather will be hosting its first Market in the Mountains, being held at Moose Valley Ranch in beautiful Springdale, WA. A place where y’all can experience the peace and majesty that the rural part of our county has to offer while investing in the products made here and the food grown here. There will be booths with quality wares, food trucks with delicious food, beverages, and live music.

Market in the Mountains will take place October 8, 2022, from 4 to 8 pm.
Enjoy a night out at the ranch featuring plenty of music, food trucks, mobile bar trailers, and shopping at a rural western market.
