Fall 2022 Book Reviews
This fall, I’m all about finding ways to be cozy and embrace self-care around food. I’m seeing a trend of books that are less about how food looks, and more about how it tastes and how it makes you feel. Many of us are so tired in these pandemic years, and easy recipes no longer seem to be something to hide in a web browser, but something we want to share with friends. This is not the season of fussy food books with complex directions, but for relaxed meals for yourself, your family, and your friends. Another thread I’m seeing is the desire to consume more vegetables and less meat. Whether you’re choosing this for health, budgetary, or creative reasons, this is a golden age of books to help you on your way.
