Serving a meal or a snack on a board or platter is certainly having a moment. It’s easy to see why. Whether you’re serving friends or your kids, it’s convenient to set everything out together and let people assemble or pick and choose what they’d like. Plus, it can take minimal effort to make it pretty (or maximal, if that’s your thing). This is the impetus behind Yasmin Fahr’s new book—a bid for casual, beautiful dining that doesn’t require individual plating, and can include curation of (gasp) a variety of store bought ingredients.

With lots of inspiration for everything from breakfast and brunch to dinner, snacks, cocktails and outdoor spreads, there is something in here for everyone. More than just the recipes, it should spark creativity for all the things you might want to put on a board.
