Get your boba fix

Revival Tea is entering the boba world with a new spot on W Main Ave in the former Sweet Peaks Ice Cream space. Founder and teamaker Drew Henry says the new tea spot is a result of customer demand ever since they opened their tasting room in 2020. The boba bar is here to stay, but is acting as a pilot as Revival opens other tasting rooms across the country. Try a London Fog Boba or a Chai Milk!

From stand to shop

When the folks behind TacoVado opened their drive-thru stand, their mission was to give people good food. That’s still the case, but now they want you to stay a while. TacoVado has moved out of their stand on N. Ash and into a brick and mortar location on Northwest Blvd. There’s more space to gather with friends and an expanded menu with the addition of booze. “It’s everything you’ve always loved plus a whole lot more!”

BBQ in the PNW

Real barbecue takes time. The folks at Porter’s Real Barbecue get to work before the sun rises and are there until after dark to serve up the quality brisket, ribs and pulled pork at their new Spokane location. All of their sauces and rubs are made fresh and from scratch, but if you want in on this goodness, you better get there early. The time sensity of their carefully crafted menu means they often sell out!

Love for New Love

Friendly baristas, local art, quality coffee and connection – that’s what New Love Coffee is serving up every day. Owner Ike Bubna and his wife recently purchased North Idaho’s beloved Bean & Pie, so you are also able to snack on sweet and savory hand pies, in addition to their selection of vegan and gluten free cookies. Check them out at their Liberty Lake and North Spokane locations, and look forward to their Kendall Yards shop opening in April.

Your Mom’s Soda Shop

A years-long dream is now a reality in Mead. The folks behind Your Mom’s Soda Shop have been conjuring the idea for five years and finally pulled the trigger last summer. Using her background in mixology, owner Stephanie Sanders has come up with an eclectic menu of mixed sodas and energy drinks. Your Mom’s Soda Shop is the perfect place for kids to hang out after school or for families to stop by for a family date.

Off The Wall

“A little crazy, a little bold and a little off the wall.” Inspired by travel to Chicago, Las Vegas and Cabo San Lucas, Off the Wall has a little something for everyone. This new downtown spot is an indoor food truck with three separate menus and a full bar. Try tacos at El Medano or a gourmet hotdog at Chi-Dog. Better yet? Get your fix at the end of the night thanks to their late night dining!
