Em’s Perfect Ribs

COURTESY OF EMILY TELLVIK

Ingredients

2 1/2 Pounds Pork Spare Ribs
2 Tbsp Pink Salt
2 Tbsp Course Ground Pepper
2 Tbsp Chili Powder
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp Onion Powder

Instructions

Remove silverskin from ribs.

Combine dry ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Generously apply rub into both sides of the ribs, then wrap tightly in aluminum foil.

Preheat the oven to 400F degrees and place the foil wrapped ribs on a baking sheet.

Cook until the meat is fork tender, about 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

Heat grill to medium high heat, and lightly oil the grates. Carefully remove the ribs from foil, pouring off any accumulated liquid.

Place the ribs on the grill and generously brush them with bbq sauce.

Grill until slightly charred, 2-3 minutes per side.

Serve with extra sauce.
